me – asking the question what does the word pope mean?
I found from the Website – The Holy Father
The pope (from Latin: papa; from Greek: πάππας (pappas),
 a child’s word for father)
is the Bishop of Rome and the leader of the worldwide Catholic Church.
In the Catholic Church, the Pope is regarded as the successor of Saint Peter, the Apostle.
No matter what I think – the Catholic Church is still bringing the message of Jesus Christ to the world – has done for many many years & they present God to the world in a very obvious way – make an out loud standing statement that God is true – & the everyday non-believer sees this. I could ask the question ‘what is all that pomp & dress & parade about? but seeing that they are responsible for caring for many poor & helping a lot of people in the name of God – why would I worry about asking that question?
The Catholic Church is part of the Body of Christ.
I know they’ve got that pope thing happening but that doesn’t mean they’re not followers of Christ & seek Him with all their heart soul spirit & strength. Who am I to judge? And what is the pope to the Catholics anyway ? they don’t say He is God do they ? sure they set the pope on a pedestal but that is not to say that they don’t put God first – there is so much to consider about this but I just don’t need to because all I see is people trying to worship & love God as best they can.
When I first started singing in the Spirit one day at Church the words puppa puppa puppa just flowed out of me & as I sang those words puppa puppa puppa my heart just flew to my Father in Heaven a supernatural quick link & I began to know Him much closer like a child & as I kept singing I knew Him again & again more & more as my ever so gentle loving Puppa. See – I never knew Him like that before – before allowing Holy Spirit to usher words from my mouth – singing in the Spirit – but He teaches me in mysterious ways – & I so love Him. He is my Puppa – my heart has learnt Him anew.
See! this closeness with our Heavenly Puppa is not just for me.
God is so good & I’m sure even the pope can & probably does address his Heavenly Father in Heaven as Puppa.
