Sadness Into Gladness

I get a vision
The world cracks open
I see a clock that says ten minutes to seven
Immediately after that clock
Another one appears that is on the eight
I must wait
Have faith in Him
Time is everything
Unknown to me
The tempter tempts
My heart groans
Wallow in self pity says the enemy
To my thoughts
It’s only right that you do
The snake hisses
Kisses tries to suck the life right out of me
A subtle seduction
But I see it
The evil slivering thing that it is
I say no way
To that place of darkness called pit
Jesus pulled me from there years ago
I’m so aware of it
I won’t stay sad
Especially when I feel helpless powerless
I will have faith in God
I will have faith of God
It’s called true joy
My God has turned the tables
Sadness into gladness
Jesus is redeemer restorer
Lover of my soul
He’s better than I can ever know
He’s the door to my Father’s house in Heaven
He’s the reason God’s Spirit lives within
Shalom Immanuel
Prince Of Peace
God is love
Holy Holy Holy
Wholly Wholly Wholly
Overcomer
He makes me
More than a conqueror
Sent to rule in love
So I honour my King of Kings
Today
Forevermore
I AM
In Him

Psalm 30:11

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,

Isaiah 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners; To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.

Jeremiah 31:13

“Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance, And the young men and the old, together, For I will turn their mourning into joy And will comfort them and give them joy for their sorrow.

John 16:20
“Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
