The Merciful Faery

Pushing the huge cement disc through the streets, I was overcome with fatigue, & I collapsed. The disc was over 100 feet in diameter, with about a three foot thickness. A faery of great compassion came to me, & showed me, & gave me, a delicacy of a type of magical mushroom food that was also a medicine. I lay there on the pavement unable to move. I watched her preparing the special food. I wanted to go back & find the huge cement disc, but the faery said that I was to rest, & that it was good what I had been doing with the disc, & that a lot of people had been helped, but now she said, that I must be eating of the healing morsel that she was preparing for me, & I was to rest.
